“Slow Skip,” developed for slow-pitch jerking that works whether fish are active or not, differs from conventional slow-pitch metal jigs in its sliding characteristics. Despite its wide, short shape, its surprising “glide” creates a long-jig-like sideways action. Combined with an irregular falling action, it gradually boosts the feeding response of predatory fish.

The “V-Bottom,” designed with stop action in mind, and the “ConveX,” designed with slide action in mind, plus the addition of a “Flat Bottom.” We recommend choosing between them according to the current/tidal conditions.

An asymmetrical jig in a slow style. It supports slow jerks from 1/1 to 1/8 of a reel turn, making it easy to create a horizontal jig posture with minimal rod stroke. It also prevents a straight vertical drop after the jerk, reducing the fish’s wariness. It provides strong drawing power and triggers bite-inducing, drifting falls.

Ideal rod ⇒ a slow-action rod
When you want to emphasize a strong glide, clearly perform the up-and-down motion: after lifting the rod with a (light) jerk, return it immediately.
