【New S40's Cord Jacket】 ■Material: 85% Cotton, 15% Polyester ■Product: The popular New S40's Jacket is made from corduroy. The fabric is designed to match the vintage style by aligning the yarn thickness and weave, resulting in 14-wale ribs that are reminiscent of vintage styles. Although I considered a 100% cotton blend, I decided to use a composition of 85% cotton and 15% polyester after examining the weft of vintage fabric. For dyeing, I chose reactive dyeing instead of sulfur dyeing because the latter tends to quickly show a worn-out look after just one wash, which I felt would divert from the vintage atmosphere. My aim is to achieve a gradual aging process similar to denim, ultimately resulting in a white/puckered seam appearance. *Please note that sizes 38 and below have a plain back, whereas sizes from 40 onwards feature a T-back.
