Champion "Reverse Weave" style sweatshirt.
An homage to vintage USMA (United States Military Academy) and USMC (United States Marine Corps) sweatshirts, which actually featured reverse weave in the 1970s.
Features vintage details such as side ribbing and wide ribbing.
The fabric is 12.4oz brushed fleece for excellent heat retention.
Prevents body temperature from dropping while riding.
*Reverse Weave is Champion's signature clothing manufacturing method, created in 1934.
Sweatshirts at the time had a weakness: they tended to shrink vertically. This manufacturing method was developed to address this issue.
By using fabric that would normally be used vertically horizontally, this method helps reduce vertical shrinkage. The name "Reverse Weave" comes from the idea of using fabric vertically and horizontally in reverse.
Furthermore, ribbing on both sides increases strength and helps the garment retain its shape even when worn.
